Senior Manager – Private Client Tax (UK)

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manager to join a leading private client advisory practice in Dubai. This role is ideal for a UK private client tax specialist looking to combine high-quality technical work with an international client base in one of the world's fastest-growing wealth management hubs.

Working with High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) individuals, families, trusts and family offices, you will provide sophisticated UK tax advice while helping clients structure and protect wealth across multiple jurisdictions.

The Role

As a Senior Manager within the Private Client Tax team, you will provide strategic tax planning advice, build long-term client relationships and support business development initiatives. This is a client-facing advisory role requiring exceptional technical expertise in UK private client taxation and succession planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise HNW and UHNW individuals and families on complex UK private client tax matters.
• Provide expert guidance on UK residence, long-term residence and domicile rules, including the application of Double Taxation Agreements.
• Advise on UK Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning and succession strategies.
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of UK anti-avoidance legislation, including Transfer of Assets Abroad (TOAA) provisions.
• Structure and advise on trusts, foundations and family investment companies for asset protection and tax-efficient succession planning.
• Develop bespoke tax planning strategies that align with clients' personal and commercial objectives.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and present complex tax advice clearly to clients and professional advisers.
• Monitor UK tax legislation and ensure clients receive proactive advice on relevant changes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and professional advisers.
• Identify opportunities for new business and contribute to the continued growth of the private client advisory practice.
• Work collaboratively with legal, fiduciary and corporate services teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

About You

You will be a technically strong UK private client tax professional with experience advising wealthy individuals and families on complex tax planning matters.

Essential ExperienceCurrently working (or recently worked) as a Senior Manager or experienced Manager within a UK Private Client Tax team.

Experience gained within a leading accountancy practice, private client tax boutique or law firm.

• Extensive technical knowledge of:UK residence and long-term residence rules
• Inheritance Tax (IHT)
• Trust taxation
• Family investment companies
• Double Taxation Agreements
• UK anti-avoidance legislation, including TOAAStrong advisory and report-writing skills.

Excellent client relationship management abilities.

Commercially minded with experience identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, ACCA or ADIT.STEP qualification or membership is highly desirable.
• This is an office-based role with occasional international travel as required.
