San Francisco Waldorf School
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Grade School Substitute Teachers (for Early Childhood and/or Grades 1st – 8th Grade) who are passionate about education. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, nurturing, and capable of maintaining the classroom’s flow while adhering to the values and philosophy of Waldorf education.
The San Francisco Waldorf School hires dedicated and highly capable faculty and staff who develop a deep connection to Waldorf education and our unique school in San Francisco. SFWS employees are a committed group of free, responsible adults who bring our best individual selves to our work.

We seek a Substitute teacher to join us in our commitment to Waldorf education. Individuals with university degrees, Waldorf teacher training, and preferably, experience teaching in a Waldorf school are encouraged to apply.

Compensation is $55 per hour or $250 for a full day. This is a part-time, as needed, temporary/short-term, non-exempt position. It carries no benefits other than those available through San Francisco City. This position does not continue during the summer break months.
School breaks and Holidays are unpaid.
