As we evolve into expanding our Cal- French offerings after 27 years we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. As an integral part of our hospitality operation, you will oversee food preparation, kitchen management, and team supervision to ensure exceptional service and quality standards are met consistently.

Your expertise in fine dining, catering, and food safety will drive the success of our culinary offerings, creating memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient food production and service delivery
• Oversee menu planning, ensuring a variety of appealing options that meet dietary requirements and customer preferences
• Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
• Enforce food safety sanitizing procedures and uphold strict hygiene standards across all kitchen operations
• Coordinate catering events and banquet functions with precision, ensuring timely and quality service
• Monitor food handling practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety protocols
• Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, managing staff schedules, training new team members, and maintaining high morale
• Implement cost control measures to optimize food management and maximize profitability
• Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory levels, and sanitation inspections
• Foster a positive team environment through leadership, mentorship, and clear communication

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments (French restaurant experience a plus)
• Extensive banquet and catering experience demonstrating ability to manage large-scale events, creating tasting menu and creative dishes.
• Supervising experience managing kitchen teams in fast-paced settings
• Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and dietary department standards
• Demonstrated expertise in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
• Experience in restaurant or hospitality management with a focus on food service operations
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control strategies within the food industry
• Skilled in managing multiple responsibilities such and Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams.
