Civil Engineer I

Telamon Engineering Consultants, Inc., (TECI) is a Civil Engineering Design and Land Surveying firm providing services for public works, commercial and residential development; successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in civil engineering design/survey CAD work for a variety of public and private works around the Bay Area.

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer I with proactive, result driven attitude, exceptional technical aptitude and highly dedicated to personal excellence to join our firm.

The successful candidate for this position should have the following qualifications:

Requirements

• BS Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D CAD Production
• 1-3+ plus years work experience in an engineering related field

Preferred

• Demonstrated ability to produce under directions the following:
• CAD Utility plan layout
• Minor Grading
• Demolition and Site Improvement Plans
• General Notes
• Roadway-Geometric Layout and Profile
• Detail Sheet Preparation
• Public Work Projects Experience
• Local Candidates
• Familiarity with CAD Standards
• EIT
• QSD/QSP
• LEED Green Associate

Duties

• Coordination with public agencies and private industries
• Detect discrepancies between site condition and existing survey
• Incorporate Existing Utility info to Base Map under PE/PM direction
• Preparation of Meeting Agenda and Meeting Minutes
• Compile and Maintain Project Directory
• Set up Project Sheets
