This builder works across San Francisco, the Peninsula, and the Wine Country. The Project Estimator reports to the Director of Preconstruction and owns accurate, competitive numbers on custom residential work.

Role Summary

Own preconstruction estimates, reporting to the Director of Preconstruction, on custom Bay Area homes.

Key Outcomes

• Own accurate, competitive numbers that win the right work at a margin the firm can build to.
• Turn architectural drawings into complete, defensible scopes with no gaps for the field to absorb.
• Build and hold the trade relationships that produce real pricing on luxury scopes, not guesses.
• Lead buyout so the estimate and the executed contracts line up.
• Flag design and constructability risk early, while it is still cheap to solve.
• Give leadership the cost intelligence to bid selectively and profitably.

Compensation and Benefits

Target compensation: $140k–$170k, depending on experience. A full benefits package, detailed in a first conversation.
