Plaintiff-Side Wage and Hour Class Action Attorney | Chicago Metro | Hybrid | Up to $250,000 Base Salary

A confidential plaintiff-side litigation practice is seeking an attorney with 4 to 10 years of experience to support wage and hour class and collective actions.

This role is built for a litigator who enjoys fast-moving case work, strong written and oral advocacy, and taking meaningful ownership of matters while collaborating closely with experienced trial lawyers.

📍 Location, Schedule and Compensation

Location: Chicago metropolitan area, Illinois

Schedule: Hybrid, in office 4 days per week

Compensation

Up to $250,000 base salary, dependent on experience

⚖️ The Role

Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and briefs

Manage discovery, including written discovery, document review strategy, and discovery motions

Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses

Support class and collective action litigation strategy, including certification-related work

Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court appearances

Prepare cases for hearing and trial, including evidentiary and pretrial submissions

Communicate with clients and coordinate case tasks to keep matters on track

✅ Requirements

4 to 10 years of plaintiff-side class action litigation experience, including wage and hour matters

Active Illinois Bar admission in good standing

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school

Strong academic performance and demonstrated legal research, writing, and advocacy skills

Ability to work in the Chicago area on a hybrid basis with in-office attendance 4 days per week

Demonstrated commitment and consistent professional progression
