Co-Lead Preschool Teacher

Are you passionate about early childhood education and creating joyful learning experiences? We’re looking for a nurturing, energetic, and collaborative Co-Lead Teacher to join our 2 year oldclassroom team! The position is year round and full day. Candidate must make a one year commitment and be available Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm.

About the Role

As a Co-Lead Teacher, you will partner with another lead teacher and an assistant teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The preschool years are a critical time for social-emotional growth, language development, and building independence and experienced classroom leadership makes all the difference.

We’re seeking someone who understands preschool development and thrives in an active, hands-on classroom setting.

Our 2 year old classroom is dynamic, busy, and full of big emotions and rapid development. Previous classroom experience is essential to:

• Confidently manage daily routines and transitions
• Support positive behavior and guide social interactions
• Balance structure with flexibility
• Maintain safety while fostering exploration
• Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with families

Experience in a licensed childcare center or early childhood classroom is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with families through daily communication
• Conduct observations and assessments to support individual growth
• Collaborate closely with teaching team and administration

Qualifications

• Prior classroom experience with 2year olds required
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Warm, patient, and dependable personality
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $47,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
