The Fourth Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher is responsible for creating a rigorous, engaging, and student-centered learning environment that ensures all students achieve grade-level literacy proficiency.
The Fourth Grade ELA teacher will deliver high-quality Tier 1 instruction aligned to state standards, utilize assessment data to drive instructional decisions, implement differentiated small-group instruction, and collaborate with colleagues through the school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework to accelerate student achievement.
The position will work with the Campus Director, Instructional Coaches, and colleagues to implement the school's curriculum.
The teacher is expected to foster a positive classroom culture that promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, collaboration, and a lifelong love of reading and writing.
$55,000 - $87,100
The included pay rate or range represents the University of Chicago Charter School's good faith estimate of the possible compensation offer for this role at the time of posting. The salary will be commensurate of years of experience and education.
