Duties

• Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment focused on excellence in food production and service
• Develop creative menus that align with brand standards and cater to diverse dietary needs, including special dietary departments
• Oversee all food preparation activities, ensuring quality, presentation, and consistency across all dishes served
• Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize costs while maintaining high standards of freshness and quality
• Implement and enforce food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and industry best practices
• Monitor shift operations, manage staffing schedules, and ensure efficient kitchen workflow during busy periods
• Expert on food handling, cooking techniques, and safety protocols to elevate team skills and knowledge

Experience

• Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and restaurant management
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in high-volume settings such as banquets or catering services
• Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, sanitizing procedures, and inventory management practices within the food industry
• Hands-on experience in menu planning, cost control, and managing kitchen operations effectively
• Familiarity with managing dietary departments or accommodating special dietary requests is highly desirable
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts efficiently, and uphold hospitality standards
• Previous experience working in restaurant or hospitality settings that emphasize quality service and culinary excellence

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
