RN (Registered Nurse) - Mother Baby (Post Partum)

We are currently seeking an experienced Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive postpartum experience and be comfortable floating to Pediatrics and NICU (feeders and growers) as needed.

Position Details

• Specialty: RN – Postpartum (Mother Baby)
• Location: Los Angeles, CA
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Schedule: 12-Hour Day Shifts
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
• On-Call: None
• Floating: Required to Pediatrics and NICU (feeders & growers)
• First to Float

Requirements

• Active California RN License
• Minimum 4 years of recent Postpartum RN experience
• BLS (AHA) Certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Experience caring for high-risk postpartum patients
• Comfortable floating to Pediatrics and NICU as needed

Unit Information

• 28-bed Postpartum Unit
• Approximately 3,300 births annually
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 Couplet Care
• 3-unit orientation

Charting System: Cerner

Pay: $73.00 - $73.87 per hour
