Role Description The RTL Engineer role at Verex Engineering LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves designing, implementing, and verifying RTL for digital systems, focusing on performance, power, and area optimization.

The RTL Engineer collaborates closely with hardware architects and verification teams to translate specifications into robust, synthesizable designs and support integration into larger system architectures. Daily responsibilities include writing and reviewing RTL code, performing simulations and debugging, conducting design reviews, and ensuring adherence to design and industry standards.

The RTL Engineer also contributes to documentation, works with cross-functional engineering teams, and supports continuous improvement of design flows and methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering concepts, including Electricity and fundamental circuit theory.
• Experience with Electrical Design and practical application of digital and mixed-signal design principles.
• Knowledge of Power Systems and Power Distribution as they relate to digital hardware and system-level design.
• Proficiency in RTL design (e.g., Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL), synthesis, and simulation tools.
• Familiarity with ASIC or FPGA development flows, including timing analysis and verification methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering team and communicate technical ideas clearly.
