In 2019, Amazon co-founded The Climate Pledge and made a commitment to achieve net-zero carbon by 2040 —10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement. Key job responsibilities
Our Data Engineers develop large data models for clients in energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water sectors, enabling them to assess their portfolios. They help our data scientists create predictive models to enhance decision-making.
As a Data Engineer, you'll start your day collaborating with cross-functional partners to understand their data needs. You might spend time building and optimizing ETL pipelines, reviewing code with team members, or designing new data models. You'll participate in technical discussions to solve complex problems.
Your work directly impacts AWS' sustainability goals, helping to design products used by leaders and stakeholders to make informed decisions about reducing our impact on the environment.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
