Analyze data and information to develop risk management strategies and plans.

Collaborate with other city departments to implement risk management strategies and procedures.
Communicate potential risks and their consequences to key stakeholders, including city officials and department heads.
Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures.
Conduct training and informational sessions for city employees on risk management best practices.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to risk management.
Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and reduction strategies.
Prepare reports and presentations on risk management activities and results.
Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
Work with external auditors and consultants to assess potential risks and implement recommendations.
Maintain documentation and records related to risk management activities.
Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure adequate coverage for potential risks.
Participate in emergency preparedness and response planning.
Remain aware of potential legal and regulatory changes that may impact risk management practices.
Continuously evaluate and improve risk management processes and procedures.
Serve as a point of contact for risk management inquiries and concerns.
Provide guidance and support to other team members on risk management matters.
Represent the city in risk management related meetings and conferences.
