Fulfillment Manager

If you are considering this job, keep in mind that the required work days are Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and Friday with assigned shift hours beginning at 6:00 PM and ending at 6:00 AM

General Purpose

As the Fulfillment Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all materials are stored and transported securely and in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Required to manage the warehousing and shipping procedures for materials coming in and going out.
• Supervises warehouse personnel.
• Part of a manager's job is to ensure that team members are properly staffed, trained, evaluated, and grown to their full potential.
• Keep tabs on the routine affairs of the warehouse.
• Schedule the shifts of the warehouse team to fulfill the needs of the facility.
• Reserve enough area for the proper rotation of your stock.
• Aid in preserving inventory levels to minimize losses and improve business outcomes.
• Administer the shipping and receiving operations that may apply.
• Secure company assets.
• A key factor in long-term success is the ability to manage labor expenses and operational costs effectively.
• Manage and evaluate the productivity of your team members based on their timekeeping.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree is desirable but not crucial; the minimum requirement is a high school diploma or a GED.
• In order to be considered for this role, the candidate should have worked either in warehouse/inventory for 1-3 years or in consumer products/direct store delivery.
• The job necessitates a background in successfully overseeing budgets and personnel.
• Those who have supervised warehouse/inventory workers for more than 24 months are preferred candidates.
• Proficiency in computer and database application skills can also help increase productivity, as individuals can quickly and easily access and process necessary information. This efficiency can be particularly beneficial in fast-paced work environments where speed and accuracy are paramount.
• Expertise in utilizing electronic inventory monitoring systems.
• Aptitude to handle and utilize a human-powered or motorized pallet jack to shift items.
• Possession of a forklift certification is a prerequisite for starting a job.
