Legal Secretary

We are looking for a Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling litigation matters in Seattle, Washington. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators handling a variety of civil litigation and insurance defense matters while becoming an integral part of a collaborative, team-oriented practice.

This is a strong fit for a legal assistant who enjoys managing a busy desk, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment. Candidates with insurance defense, personal injury, general liability, premises liability, or civil litigation experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation
• Draft, format, revise, and finalize pleadings, motions, and correspondence
• Manage attorney calendars and litigation deadlines
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial schedules
• Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts
• Assist with discovery, including organizing and tracking records and document productions
• Coordinate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and hearing materials
• Maintain electronic and physical case files
• Track and manage billing and time-entry support as needed
