Backend Engineer – Onsite in Austin!

Position: Backend Software Engineer

Location: Austin, TX – Onsite

Pay: $130K – $175K + Bonus

Term: Full-time, Permanent

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to develop robust and scalable backend solutions for an innovative platform. In this pivotal role, you will work on core products and own critical parts that significantly impact revenue. This position offers a chance to enhance system performance and user interactions using cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining backend features and APIs.
• Ensure application scalibility and reliability.
• Will be responsible for the products conception to deployment and maintenance.
• Work closely with the frontend developers for user experience and integration.
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experience with Nest.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and cloud services.
• Must be willing to go onsite 5 days/week.
• Proficiency with Node.js and familiarity with TypeORM and related database.
• Understanding of domain-driven design (DDD) and ability to write queries and manage data models.
