The Associate Dean for Curriculum & Faculty provides strategic leadership for the development, quality, and continuous improvement of nursing curricula while advancing faculty effectiveness and academic excellence. The role ensures that programs remain current, evidence-based, and aligned with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and workforce needs.
The Associate Dean oversees the work of the Curriculum Manager and Faculty Manager to coordinate curriculum operations, faculty development, and compliance processes across all nursing programs. Working closely with program Chairs, directors, and academic leadership, this position guides curriculum planning, program review, and faculty preparation to support high-quality nursing education.

$126,234 to $138,000 based on experience Samuel Merritt University currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location, and other relevant skills.
