We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team in Northeast Austin. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple tasks, keeping inventory organized, working with vendors, and ensuring our customers receive materials and samples quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials, hardware, packaging supplies, office supplies, and other inventory needed for production and daily operations.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain pricing, lead times, and order confirmations.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials before stock runs low.
• Manage the company's sample inventory, ensuring samples are organized, stocked, and readily available.
• Prepare, package, and ship product samples to architects, designers, contractors, and customers.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with UPS, FedEx, freight carriers, and other shipping providers.
• Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and shipping records.
• Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
• Work closely with the production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Help identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of purchasing, inventory management, shipping, warehouse coordination, or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience working with vendors and managing purchase orders.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.
• English required.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• IT experience is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Occasionally assist with loading, unloading, and organizing inventory.
• Ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

35–40 hours per week
