Graphic Designer/ Social Media Manager

Duties

• Develop and execute visually stunning designs across digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Manage and grow our social media channels by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing strategies for maximum reach and engagement.
• Conceptualize and produce motion graphics, animations, logo designs, and visual assets that enhance brand recognition and storytelling.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop branding strategies, marketing materials, print advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
• Prepare design files for print production, ensuring color accuracy, proper layout, and adherence to prepress standards.
• Utilize graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and InVision to produce high-quality visuals.
• Incorporate photography, photo manipulation, digital art techniques, and video editing skills to create compelling multimedia content for diverse media channels.

Requirements

• Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, layout design, typography for media, motion graphics, and digital art.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics; experience with WordPress for website updates; knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography design for media, visual design principles, and print production processes such as prepress and color management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Technical proficiency in photo editing, photo manipulation, video editing software, content management systems (CMS), and sign manufacturing processes is desirable.
• Experience in UI/UX design (user interface/user experience) or web design is advantageous but not mandatory.

This is a contract position with the possibility to move into a full time role.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
