Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development across preschool and toddler age groups.
• Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and creative activities aligned with developmental milestones.
• Manage classroom environments effectively by maintaining organization, safety standards, and positive behavior management strategies to support optimal learning experiences.
• Support children with special needs through tailored activities and early intervention techniques to promote inclusive learning environments.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies.
• Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, behavioral observations, and developmental milestones regularly.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, attendance, behavioral incidents, and developmental assessments for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among children.
• Support the implementation of specialized curricula when applicable to enhance personalized learning approaches.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, childcare best practices, and curriculum updates.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
• Experience designing curriculum development tailored to preschoolers’ needs across various domains including literacy education and math.
• Proven classroom management skills that promote positive behavior and a respectful learning environment.
• Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those requiring special education support.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and community partners.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures used in early childhood settings to assess developmental progress.
• Experience with toddler care routines and implementing age-specific activities for early learners.
• Knowledge of childcare regulations, daycare standards, and child welfare practices to ensure safety and compliance.
• Ability to plan lessons that incorporate physical education and promote healthy movement habits among young children.
• Prior experience working in private schools or daycare centers is advantageous; r other specialized educational training is a plus.
