Licensed Plumber - Commercial New Construction - Austin, TX

Job Title: Texas Licensed Journeyman Plumber / Apprentice Plumber / Licensed Certified Med Gas Plumber

Pay: $25-$45 Dependent on Plumbing License and Experience

Position Overview

We are currently hiring Texas Licensed Journeyman Plumbers, Apprentice Plumbers, and Licensed Certified Med Gas Plumbers for commercial new construction projects in the Austin, TX area. We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience in commercial construction who can work efficiently in active jobsite environments while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Candidates with Medical Gas certification are especially encouraged to apply for healthcare and specialty construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and test plumbing systems on commercial new construction projects
• Perform underground, rough-in, top-out, and trim work as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plumbing schematics
• Assist with pipe layout, cutting, threading, soldering, and brazing
• Work closely with foremen, journeymen, apprentices, and other trades on site
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
• Follow all local plumbing codes, company standards, and safety procedures
• For Med Gas roles, install and work on medical gas piping systems in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements

Requirements

• Journeyman roles: Active Texas Journeyman Plumbing License
• Apprentice roles: Active Texas Apprentice Plumbing License
• Med Gas roles: Active Texas Journeyman Plumbing License and current Medical Gas certification
• Proven experience in commercial new construction plumbing
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on project demands
