Atlantic Group is hiring a Contract Systems Administrator in Boston, MA for our client, supporting systems administration, endpoint management, IT infrastructure, and device management within a growing organization. This project-based role will enhance system performance, strengthen endpoint security, automate administrative processes, and support technology initiatives across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate has experience with endpoint management platforms, scripting, and systems administration in a Windows and macOS environment.

Responsibilities as the Contract Systems Administrator

• Systems Administration: Manage and maintain endpoint management systems, device configurations, user access, and administrative policies across enterprise environments.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts to automate administrative tasks, improve system efficiency, and streamline operational processes.
• Endpoint Management: Support endpoint security, device compliance, software deployment, patch management, and system performance.
• Infrastructure Support: Monitor, maintain, and optimize system configurations while identifying opportunities to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system standards to support ongoing administration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions and support infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications for the Contract Systems Administrator

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of systems administration, endpoint management, IT infrastructure, or a related role is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of systems administration, endpoint management, Windows and macOS environments, and IT security best practices is required.
• Technical Skills: Experience with endpoint management platforms, scripting languages, Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office is required. Experience with enterprise device management or identity management platforms is preferred.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver reliable technical solutions.
