We're looking for an Inside/Outside Sales Representative — a market that serves as the hub for the greater New England region, with enormous untapped potential still waiting to be developed.

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Boston showroom, combining inside sales (showroom visitors, scheduled appointments, inbound inquiries) with outside sales (prospecting, account development, and relationship-building throughout the greater New England territory). You'll split your time between hosting clients on the showroom floor and actively growing Carlisle's presence across the region — including regular travel to meet architects and designers at their offices and to visit construction sites to connect with builders.

What You'll Do

• Proactively prospect and develop new leads across the greater New England territory — a growth market with significant untapped potential where you'll play a key role in expanding our presence
• Serve as the primary point of contact for showroom visitors, delivering a client experience that matches a premium, made-to-order product
• Travel to architecture and design firms to present Carlisle's product line and build relationships with key decision-makers
• Visit construction sites and job sites to meet with builders and support their projects with our product
• Manage a full sales pipeline, from first outreach or showroom inquiry through signed order, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
• Cultivate and grow relationships with designers, architects, builders, and high-value residential and commercial clients across the region
• Develop deep product knowledge — wood species, milling, finishes, installation methods — to advise clients with genuine authority
• Maintain the showroom environment and product displays to reflect the quality of the Carlisle brand
• Track pipeline activity and sales performance against targets, with a proactive approach to hitting and exceeding goals

What We're Looking For

• A proven track record of sales success, with demonstrated skill in prospecting and new business development
• Comfortable and willing to travel regularly to visit architects and designers at their offices, as well as construction sites to meet with builders
• Strong interest in design, architecture, or fine craftsmanship — flooring, interior design, or luxury home products experience is a strong plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset — motivated by the opportunity to build and expand business within a territory rather than manage an existing book of business
• Polished communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly with discerning, design-savvy clients
• Self-directed and coachable, with the discipline to manage a pipeline independently
• Comfort operating in a longer sales cycle built on relationships and trust rather than quick transactions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
