ARCHITECT / PROJECT ARCHITECT

As we look toward growing our team, we are interested in meeting exceptional architects and designers who may be a fit for future opportunities at Hacin.

We are seeking Architects and Project Architects with approximately 6–10+ years of experience who are ready to take increasing responsibility for design leadership, technical execution, and project delivery. Candidates with experience and a strong interest in high-end custom residential architecture are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & Skills

• Professional degree in Architecture required (B Arch or M Arch); licensure preferred.
• Portfolio demonstrating design excellence, thoughtful problem-solving, and technical rigor.
• Experience leading projects or significant portions of projects with increasing independence.
• Ability to guide projects through design, consultant coordination, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Experience mentoring junior team members while fostering a collaborative studio environment.
• Strong understanding of building systems, detailing, constructability, and building codes.
• Proficiency with Revit, Rhino and/or SketchUP, and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

Experience with custom residential architecture is highly valued. We also welcome candidates from hospitality, multifamily, workplace, institutional, or other design-focused practices who bring exceptional design ability, technical rigor, and an interest in creating highly crafted residential projects.

Successful candidates will have complementary strengths. Some excel at conceptual design, others at technical leadership, project management, mentoring, or client relationships. We're looking for architects who can move projects forward with confidence, while recognizing that our best work is always the product of an engaged, collaborative team.
