What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor front desk activity, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and/or credentials, and assist with access control and visitor sign-in processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels and documenting security-related events as needed.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional lobby environment while helping to address unauthorized access and/or other front desk concerns.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining awareness of daily operations, communicating with site contacts, and helping to follow post orders and emergency protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
