Software Developer - Salesforce

The Intermediate Software Developer contributes to the full lifecycle design, development, and administration of Salesforce Low Code platform solutions. Operating both independently and as part of an agile team, this role is responsible for coding, unit testing, implementation, and maintenance of software of moderate complexity in support of federal agency needs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and administration of Salesforce Low Code platform projects end to end.
• Identify and utilize OOTB marketplace plugins to minimize custom development overhead.
• Design, code, unit test, implement, and maintain software modules of moderate to high complexity.
• Define solution objectives by analyzing user requirements, evaluating design options, and recommending solutions based on customer priorities.
• Design, implement, and maintain data storage structures using Informix databases in compliance with federal data protection regulations.
• Develop and maintain integration solutions between Salesforce, Informix, and Snowflake.
• Utilize middleware and ETL tools to support data synchronization across platforms.
• Adhere to government contract requirements, privacy standards, and security protocols throughout the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain technical ETL documentation and application documentation per government standards.
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure features meet federal quality standards.
• Provide technical support to end-users and participate in help desk rotation as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to identify system improvement opportunities and facilitate staff training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on full stack development, including at least 2 years on Salesforce Low Code platforms and AWS.
• Developer experience on a low code platform; AWS certifications or demonstrated equivalent experience
• Agile/Scrum certifications or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Experience in ETL mapping and workflow development for data warehouse projects.
• Federal contracting experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

Employees must be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods of time. They should be able to use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, as well as reach with their hands and arms. The ability to talk, see, and hear is also required. Occasionally, they may need to lift and move moderate amounts of weight, typically no more than 30 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
