Residential Service Plumber (Full-Time) - Commission Based

Full-Time Residential Service Plumber (Journeyman or Master)

The Honest Plumbers is looking for a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber to join us as a long-term partner.

This isn't a traditional boss/employee relationship. We view our plumbers as partners. We focus on generating customers, handling scheduling, communicating with homeowners, and growing the business, while you focus on providing excellent plumbing service. Our goal is to build a relationship where both sides succeed together through a consistent flow of residential service calls.

We’re looking for plumbers who have no trouble communicating well before, during, and after jobs. The position is highly flexible and accommodating to the plumber's schedule.

Compensation

• 60% to the plumber / 40% to the company
• Commission-based compensation
• Per job payouts
• Strong 6 figure earning potential with consistent work for full-time partners

Schedule

This is a full-time opportunity.

We understand everyone has different schedules, and we'll do our best to accommodate your availability whenever possible. In return, we're looking for someone who is committed to working full-time and can consistently accept and complete assigned service calls.

Service Area

You must be willing and able to travel to jobs throughout:

• Washington, DC
• Arlington, VA
• Fairfax, VA
• Northern Virginia
• Occasional service calls in the Baltimore area

Reliable transportation is required, and you must be able to travel wherever jobs are assigned.

Typical Service Calls

• Drain cleaning
• Leak detection and pipe repairs
• Water heater repair and replacement
• Toilet repair and installation
• Faucet and fixture replacement
• Garbage disposals
• Sump pumps
• Water pressure issues
• Shutoff valves
• Water filtration systems
• Sewer and drain repairs
• General residential plumbing diagnostics and repairs

Requirements

• Active Journeyman or Master Plumber license
• Current liability insurance
• Valid driver's license
• Service truck or work van
• Professional plumbing tools
• Ability to independently diagnose and complete residential plumbing repairs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to travel to every assigned job within our service area

Pay: Commission (60% plumber / 40% company)

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
