Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumbing Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that water systems and plumbing infrastructure meet safety standards, local building codes, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential construction projects using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues within existing piping systems and ensure proper function.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
• Conduct pipe threading, assembly, and installation of water supply lines, drainage systems, and HVAC components as required.
• Perform routine plumbing system inspections to identify potential problems and implement maintenance or repair solutions proactively.
• Adhere to local building codes, safety regulations, and project timelines while working on construction sites.
• Utilize welding skills when necessary for pipe joining or repairs involving metal components.

Requirements

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in commercial or residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of construction plumbing systems, water systems, and plumbing system maintenance.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras efficiently.
• Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics related to plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, assembly, remodeling techniques, and carpentry skills are highly desirable.
• Experience with construction site safety practices including heavy lifting and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe sizes and system layouts.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access or material transport roles.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations or repairs.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
