Senior Tax Consultant

We are partnering with a world-class investment banking organization to identify an experienced Senior Corporate Tax Consultant who can immediately contribute to income tax provision, compliance, and reporting initiatives within a sophisticated corporate tax function.

The consultant will play a key role supporting quarterly and annual tax reporting while assisting with ongoing compliance and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review ASC 740 income tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations.
• Prepare and review federal and multi-state C-Corporation income tax returns.
• Support quarterly and annual tax reporting, financial close, and compliance deadlines.
• Reconcile tax accounts and prepare supporting workpapers.
• Research technical tax issues and assist with audit requests.
• Partner with internal teams and external advisors on tax-related projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of corporate income tax experience.
• Strong experience with ASC 740 tax provision and C-Corporation tax compliance.
• Experience in preparing federal and multi-state income tax returns.
• Public accounting and/or large corporate tax department experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with OneSource, CorpTax, or similar tax software is a plus.
