I'm partnering with a highly respected, physician-owned healthcare organization in Dallas that is seeking a Senior Controller to join its executive leadership team.

Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Controller will oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury activities, debt management, physician compensation calculations, and financial operations across a complex multi-entity structure. The role also partners closely with leadership on strategic initiatives and participates in Board-level reporting and presentations.

This is not a purely strategic position. The ideal candidate enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working through details, and maintaining ownership of the accounting function while helping guide the organization's financial direction.

Ideal Background

Active CPA required

6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

Combination of public accounting and industry experience preferred

Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience within a multi-entity organization

Required experience within a multi-site healthcare organization (physician practice management, specialty healthcare, ASC, dental, ophthalmology, retina, or similar healthcare services environment)

Experience with physician compensation models, healthcare revenue cycle, and complex ownership structures strongly preferred

Proven leadership, communication, and business partnering skills with the ability to collaborate across clinical and operational leadership
