Procurement Operations Specialist

We are looking for a versatile and driven Procurement Operations Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to juggle multiple tasks with minimal guidance.

As the Procurement Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our office and operations. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including overseeing purchasing (both domestic and international), providing support to various departments, managing inventory, and ensuring that the office runs smoothly.

You will be the go-to person for solving problems, managing processes, and ensuring the team meets sales goals and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all purchasing activities for the USA and overseas, ensuring timely procurement of goods
• Ensure shipping rates are correct for both cost and list prices to customers
• Manage lead distribution to the sales team and create new items in the CRM system
• Provide technical support, including IT support for office technology
• Assist the accounting department with invoicing questions, payment questions & processing, and vendor management
• Support the sales team by distributing leads, processing returns, and fixing order issues
• Manage office operations, ensuring employees are present & productive, and making sure the office is a great place to work
• Ensure vendors are paid on time and maintain vendor relationships
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate stock of both products and essential supplies for smooth operations
• Approve or deny additional work hours for hourly employees based on workload analysis
• Manage warehouse and shipping supplies to ensure smooth delivery of products
• Analyze current operations and implement improvements to meet or exceed sales goals

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
• Experience in operations, purchasing, logistics, or office management preferred
• Familiarity with CRM systems, inventory management, and technical troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with all departments and external vendors
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Ability to analyze and improve operational processes
• Mechanically minded preferred
• Experience in vendor management, purchasing, sales, or accounting is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
