Logistics Coordinator & Customer Service Specialist (Spanish Speaking)

To support this growth, we are looking for an International Logistics Coordinator & Customer Service Specialist (Spanish Speaking) based in the Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas area.

In this role, you will act as the operational link between our teams in the United States, Mexico and Europe, ensuring excellent communication, efficient logistics coordination and outstanding customer service. You will work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Logistics, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to ensure our customers receive the highest level of support throughout the order and delivery process.

This is a highly visible international role requiring someone who is proactive, organized and passionate about building strong relationships with customers, logistics partners and colleagues across different countries and cultures.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Coordination

• Support the Logistics Manager and Supply Chain Director with day-to-day logistics operations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across North America and Europe.
• Manage transportation, warehousing and third-party logistics (3PL) activities.
• Process road, ocean and air freight shipments.
• Monitor deliveries and proactively communicate shipment updates.
• Coordinate warehouse value-added services such as relabelling, repacking and customer-specific requirements.
• Plan and oversee inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure excellent service levels.

Customer Service

• Serve as the communication bridge between the USA, Mexico and Europe.
• Support English and Spanish-speaking customers throughout the order process.
• Build and maintain excellent customer relationships through proactive communication.
• Coordinate order fulfilment together with Sales, Customer Service and Logistics teams.
• Resolve customer enquiries, logistics issues, claims and returns in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure customers receive accurate updates regarding orders, deliveries and shipment status.

Process Improvement

• Support logistics improvement projects across the business.
• Assist with 3PL tenders (RFQs) and logistics partner implementations.
• Request competitive freight quotations from transport providers.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.
• Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining excellent customer service.

Cost Control

• Review logistics invoices and validate freight costs.
• Ensure billing accuracy and cost control.
• Support transport budget monitoring and reporting.

Compliance

• Ensure logistics activities comply with applicable customs regulations, import/export requirements, food safety standards and company procedures.
• Support compliance with BRC and other relevant quality standards.
• Maintain complete and accurate shipping documentation.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Purchasing and Supply Chain teams.
• Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, warehouse partners and transport providers.
• Support collaboration across HHOYA’s offices in the Netherlands, USA, Mexico and China.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–5 years of experience in international logistics, customer service or supply chain.
• Experience within trading, distribution or international supply chain environments.
• Experience within the Food, Beverage, Chemical or Pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
• Willingness to travel within the USA, Mexico and Europe.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
