Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Investment Analyst / Associate, a junior member of RVP's investment team, based at the firm's Dallas, TX office. The expected start date is September 1, 2026.

The Investment Analyst / Associate will conduct industry-focused research and deal sourcing across Healthcare, TMT, and Consumer/Retail, with the goal of identifying high-quality investment opportunities for the firm.

Core responsibilities include conducting market and competitive research, performing company and industry analyses, evaluating financial and operational data, and synthesizing findings into investment memos and presentations. The role works closely with the senior investment team to support due diligence and decision-making, and may involve attending major industry conferences such as CES.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or equity research
• Venture capital or direct investing experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred — degrees in AI, semiconductor, or related engineering fields (e.g., EE, CS) also welcomed
• Startup experience in the AI or semiconductor industries a strong plus
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex financial and market data
• Proficiency in market research and quantitative analysis
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely
• Fluency in both Korean and English required
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $80,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience
• Year-end performance bonus
