We’re looking for a driven Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing logistics and transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of freight. You will be working in a close-knit, dynamic team environment where your growth and success is paramount. Candidate must have fast typing speed, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and handle daily tasks with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage logistics/transportation operations to proactively address any issues or delays with our carriers and customers.
• Professionally manage customer communications to provide timely requests for lane quotes, negotiate rates, and provide updates on freight delivery statuses.
• Effectively source carriers, negotiate lane rates, and resolve issues that may arise during transportation. Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are met.
• Research load information and manage multiple loads on the TMS (Transportation Management System) Load Board.
• Perform Truck Track & Trace and coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to ensure adherence to routes and freight pickup and delivery schedules.
• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with Shippers and Receivers.
• Perform sales calls and other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or logistics/transportation/dispatch operations is preferred.
• Able to work proficiently with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), load boards (DAT), Excel, Word, Google Mail, and other Technologies.
• Fast typing speeds and a strong ability to navigate IT applications are a must.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Must pass background checks and be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must possess own laptop and mobile device.
