Bartender / Mixologist

We are looking for a bartender with a unique set of skills to work in a private bar in Luxury Residential Building. This bartender should present themselves well, must be extremely trustworthy, and must be good at entertaining and managing bar patrons in a "Cheers" type of environment. This is a coveted bar position, has a very low rate of turnover, and comes with a shift pay guarantee.

Interested candidates should possess the following skillset:

Ability to understand and produce balanced craft cocktails at high volume with consistency and attention to detail.

Have a history of being reliable and arriving early or on time consistently.

Ability to ring $1500+ on a busy shift.

Possesses a solid base of knowledge in spirits, classic cocktails, and wine; and has the willingness to learn and expand this knowledge.

Ability to treat bartending like any other professional job, with respect and the highest level of professionalism.

This person would also have the ability to cross-train at our other bars and restaurants within NL Group (Dakotas's Steakhouse, Pizza Leila Northpark, and 5 apartment bars in luxury highrises in the downtown/uptown area. Our bar staff shows up early, works late, knows our regulars by name, has fun at work, and earns top bartending wages compared to the industry standard.

Bartending experience is a must, and server experience is preferred. Applicants must feel comfortable serving upscale guests we expect professionalism and a polished presentation. Bars are open Tues, Wed, Thurs, 5-10pm; Friday 5-12am; Saturday 2-10 or 5-12pm. This can be a rewarding and longstanding position for the right person. www.nlgroup-dallas.com
