Project Coordinator (Construction)

Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our growing construction team. This position provides critical support to the Director of Construction Operations and multiple Project Managers in a fast-paced environment, serving as a key link between Construction Operations, Operations Support, Pre-Construction, and Project Controls.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process construction submittals through all phases of the project.
• Prepare and organize pre-construction documentation and contract deliverables.
• Assist with project buyout activities, including subcontractor procurement and vendor communications.
• Review subcontract and purchase order scopes of work for completeness and consistency.
• Review construction plans, specifications, contracts, and other project documents.
• Enter, maintain, analyze, and report project data.
• Develop, maintain, and update project tracking logs, including submittal logs, RFI logs, procurement trackers, and project status reports.
• Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and project documentation using Microsoft Office applications.
• Coordinate security badging for personnel and submit access requests for government installations.
• Provide administrative support to multiple Project Managers and active construction projects simultaneously.
• Perform office administrative duties including receiving and distributing mail, ordering office supplies, printing, filing, scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and other operational support tasks.
• Conduct occasional site visits to support pre-construction efforts and project coordination.
• Communicate professionally with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of Construction Operations.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00

The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Job Requirements

• Associate degree or coursework in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience supporting construction projects, project coordination, project controls, document control, procurement, or administrative operations is preferred.
• Five (5) years of relevant experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong organizational skills and the ability to learn quickly are encouraged to apply

• Must be authorized to work in the United States in accordance with the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation required for access to U.S. Government facilities.
• Must reside within commuting distance of Cocoa, Florida. This is a full-time, in-office position and is not eligible for remote work, however It is typical to work from home 1 day a week.
• Must be willing to travel occasionally in support of pre-construction site visits and project activities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
