Role Description The Investors role at Funding is a contract position based on-site in Atlanta, GA. In this role, the individual evaluates investment opportunities by reviewing financial statements, conducting market research, and assessing risk and return profiles.

Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with founders or company representatives, performing due diligence, preparing investment memos, and contributing to portfolio management decisions. The Investor collaborates with internal teams to refine investment strategies, monitor existing holdings, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.

The role also involves staying informed about industry trends, regulatory considerations, and macroeconomic developments that may affect investment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis skills, including experience with valuation methods, cash flow modeling, and interpreting financial statements.
• Proficiency in investment research and due diligence, with the ability to synthesize market, competitive, and operational data into clear insights.
• Experience in portfolio management or asset allocation, with an understanding of risk management and diversification principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including writing concise investment memos and explaining complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
