This opportunity is ideal for an experienced interior designer with 5+ years of experience, with education project experience preferred, who enjoys collaborating throughout every phase of the design process—from concept development and finish selections to construction documentation.

You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams to create thoughtful, functional spaces while continuing to expand your technical expertise and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative design concepts and refine solutions based on project goals and client feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of the design process.
• Develop finish palettes, presentation materials, and visualizations.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
• Prepare FF&E specifications and construction documentation.
• Utilize Revit and other design software to produce drawings, renderings, and presentations.
• Lead small project teams and coordinate design tasks.
• Participate in professional development and industry networking opportunities.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
• 5+ years of professional interior design experience within an architecture or interior design firm.
• Experience designing educational environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation, materials, finish selections, and interior design principles.
• Proficiency in Revit (required), Enscape, Rhino, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), and other 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation software.
• Experience working through all phases of interior design projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• NCIDQ certified or actively pursuing certification.
