Interior Designer / Project Manager | Atlanta, GA

Join a nationally recognized, employee-owned architecture and design firm as an Interior Designer / Project Manager leading projects across hospitality, workplace, mixed-use, sports, education, healthcare, retail, and residential sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a design professional who enjoys balancing creativity with project leadership while managing projects from concept through construction.

You'll collaborate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver thoughtful, high-quality interior environments while mentoring the next generation of designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interior design projects through all phases, from concept to construction administration.
• Develop presentations, schematic designs, design development packages, and construction documents.
• Select and specify FF&E and prepare project specifications.
• Create renderings, visualizations, and presentation materials.
• Manage small to mid-sized projects, schedules, budgets, and project teams.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in professional development and industry networking opportunities.
• Utilize Revit and other design technologies to produce high-quality documentation and visualizations.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
• 8–10+ years of professional interior design experience within an architecture or design firm.
• Experience managing projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation, materials, detailing, and interior design principles.
• Proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & InDesign), SketchUp, Bluebeam, and other 3D modeling/rendering software.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• NCIDQ certified or actively pursuing certification.
