Job Overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated MEP Engineer to join our Dubai office and contribute to the delivery of a high-profile international project.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic and multicultural environment, working on complex and challenging project within the built environment sector. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing your technical expertise to the development and execution of innovative MEP solutions while having the opportunity to grow professionally within an international organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Site management and subcontractor supervision: oversee daily MEP construction activities for a high-end office project, actively managing and directing subcontractors on behalf of the General Contractor.
• Design evolution and technical support: act as the technical bridge between site execution and design.
• Will be required to develop, adapt, and refine MEP design packages that evolve or undergo changes during the construction phase, ensuring alignment with top-tier designers.
• System coordination: lead the coordination of MEP disciplines, applying specialized knowledge of electrical systems while effectively overseeing and integrating mechanical systems.
• Project controls and administration: review and assisting the management of MEP site accounting, rigorously evaluating subcontractor progress payments, and overseeing MEP work programming and scheduling.
• Problem solving: provide critical problem-solving support, proactively resolving clashes, and directly assisting the Site Manager to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

• Experience: proven senior-level experience as an MEP Engineer or MEP Coordinator on complex, high-end construction sites (office/commercial preferred). Prior experience working for a General Contractor is appreciated.
• Technical expertise: specialization in electrical engineering/installations, coupled with a solid capability to coordinate mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of BIM software and demonstrated experience in navigating, reviewing, and utilizing 3D models for coordination, spatial planning, and on-site issue resolution.
• Soft skills: proactive problem solver operational approach.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to support the Site Manager and collaborate with diverse multidisciplinary teams.
• Language and location: professional fluency in English is required.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dubai.
