Job Summary
Lead one of our key service locations as Store Manager. Drive top-tier operations, deliver outstanding customer experiences, hit strong profitability targets, and build a high-performing team. You'll own the full scope of store performance while partnering closely with our corporate office to execute strategy and exceed goals. This is a hands-on leadership role with real impact on results and people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations, financial performance, team development, and safety compliance to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable store function.
- Set and achieve sales targets aligned with store budgets; establish competitive pricing per company guidelines and market conditions; deliver accurate financial reporting to corporate.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular reconciliations, analyze financial statements, and drive performance insights.
- Oversee stock ordering, approve purchases for tools, equipment, and supplies to keep operations fully supported.
- Direct team performance: set clear expectations, provide coaching and development, handle hiring, training, and disciplinary processes in coordination with HR.
- Maintain accurate personnel and operational records; coordinate with corporate HR on staffing and employee matters.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, DOT, OSHA, and all relevant regulations; monitor fleet safety, driver qualifications, and incident reporting/investigation.
- Schedule and oversee regular maintenance of tools and equipment to company standards.
- Support sales efforts by coordinating customer visits, calls, and vendor relationships for product information and availability.
- Foster a safe, clean, and professional environment; lead safety training, enforce standards, and promote company safety commitments across the team.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, resolve issues, evaluate performance, and maintain strong team cohesion.
- Perform additional duties to advance company core values and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet all company, state, and federal driver qualification standards (including MVR, DOT compliance, physical, and drug testing requirements).
- Minimum 2 years in a management role required.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in service and sales strongly preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications or willingness to obtain.
- Familiarity with shop management software preferred.
- Proven track record of handling confidential/sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Proficient with digital tools and systems for business tasks.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Regularly lift, push, or move 50 lbs; occasionally 100+ lbs.
- Continuous standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and crouching/crawling under vehicles.
- Frequent hand/wrist/finger dexterity for tool and component handling.
- Visual acuity for detailed inspections.
- Exposure to fumes, chemicals, mechanical parts, vibration, loud noise, and occasional outdoor weather extremes; PPE provided and required.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
