Bartender/Mixologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and personable Bartender/Mixologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting innovative cocktails, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a memorable experience for guests.

This role requires a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, excellent time management skills, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, and banquet settings. Prior experience with POS systems like Toast and Open-table is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, sake, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy hours using POS systems such as Toast and Open-table.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
• Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events when required.
• Uphold all health and safety standards related to food handling and beverage service.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bartending or mixology, preferably in fine dining, nightclubs, or fast paced environments.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast and Open-table is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in hospitality settings such as nightclubs or catering events is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
