About the Role

Mile High Remodel is looking for a Construction Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing residential remodeling team in the Denver metro area. This is a hybrid, high-visibility role: you'll meet with prospective customers to scope projects and prepare accurate bids, then stay on as the project manager overseeing the job site through completion.

You'll be the face of Mile High Remodel to our customers and the person on the ground making sure every job is done right.

What You'll Do

Estimating & Customer-Facing Sales

• Meet with prospective customers on-site to assess scope, discuss goals, and answer questions about the remodel process
• Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and bids covering materials, labor, timeline, and subcontractor costs
• Present proposals directly to homeowners, clearly explaining pricing, scope, and options
• Follow up on outstanding bids and work with customers to finalize contracts
• Maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales and construction process, serving as their primary point of contact

Project & Site Management

• Serve as construction/project manager on awarded jobs, overseeing day-to-day site activity from start to finish
• Ensure work performed matches the agreed scope, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, trades, and material deliveries to keep projects on track
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs and quality checks; catch and resolve issues before they become problems
• Track project budgets and timelines, flagging change orders or scope changes to the customer promptly
• Maintain jobsite safety and ensure compliance with local building codes and permit requirements
• Communicate proactively with customers on progress, timelines, and any issues that arise during construction

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in residential construction or remodeling — estimating and/or project/site management experience preferred, but we're open to strong candidates with the right skills and track record
• Comfortable and confident meeting with customers face-to-face and presenting bids
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs across trades (framing, electrical, plumbing, finishes, etc.)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple active job sites and bids at once
• Clear communicator — with customers, subcontractors, and internal team members alike
• Working knowledge of estimating/takeoff software and general computer proficiency (spreadsheets, Claude, email, project management tools)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits across the Denver metro area
• Problem-solver who takes ownership of outcomes and holds subcontractors accountable to quality standards

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary plus commission/bonus tied to closed bids and successful project completion
• Company vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement for job-site travel

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
