Estimator – Furniture, Joinery & Fit-Out ProjectsLocation: UAECompany: NAVO (www.navoergonomics.com)NAVO is looking for an experienced Estimator to manage costing, pricing and quotation preparation for office furniture, custom furniture, joinery and workspace projects.

The role will work closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations and Production to develop accurate and commercially competitive quotations from straightforward product enquiries to large BOQs involving stock products, custom manufacturing, local sourcing and international procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Review BOQs, drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and commercial quotations for furniture and workspace projects.
• Identify suitable products and solutions based on project specifications.
• Determine the best fulfilment route across existing stock, custom manufacturing, local suppliers and international sourcing.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors where required.
• Calculate complete project costs, including products, materials, logistics, installation, outsourcing and other applicable costs.
• Apply approved pricing and markup structures and ensure quotations meet company profitability requirements.
• Review and approve quotations before submission to clients.
• Coordinate with Sales on specifications, pricing, alternatives, revisions and client requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Inventory, Production and Operations to confirm costs, availability and lead times.
• Estimate custom furniture and joinery requirements based on drawings, dimensions, materials, finishes and specifications.
• Prepare alternative or value-engineered solutions where required.
• Maintain costing sheets, supplier pricing, quotation records and pricing history.
• Support tender submissions and large project enquiries.
• Assist with internal sales coordination and ensure enquiries and quotations move efficiently through the commercial process.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in estimation, preferably within office furniture, commercial furniture, joinery, interior fit-out or related industries.
• Strong experience reading and pricing BOQs, drawings and project specifications.
• Good understanding of furniture, materials, finishes, hardware and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with supplier sourcing and subcontractor quotations.
• Strong commercial understanding of costing, markup, margins and project profitability.
• Excellent Excel and quotation preparation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
• Good communication and coordination skills across Sales, Procurement, Production and Operations.UAE market experience and knowledge of local furniture/joinery suppliers is an advantage.

Experience with international sourcing and imported furniture is an advantage.

The Role

This is a key commercial position responsible for ensuring that every project is accurately costed, competitively priced and commercially viable. You will act as the link between Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Production and Operations, allowing the sales team to focus on clients and conversions while you take ownership of the costing and quotation process.

Salary Budget: AED 5,500–7,500 (Negotiable based on skills and experience)
