Senior Drafter

SCOPE:The Senior Draughtsman (fit-out) is responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans, providing guidance to the drafting team, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Technical Drawing:

Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams based on project requirements and design specifications.

Team Supervision:

Provide guidance and mentorship to draughtsman, overseeing their work quality and adherence to standards.

Quality Assurance:

Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.

Software Proficiency:

Utilize CAD software proficiently, implementing best practices and innovative techniques to improve efficiency.

Documentation:

Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes.

Primary Deliverables:

Precise and On Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data.

Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilitiesSecondary Deliverables:

Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and diagrams using CAD software.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to draftsmen, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of drawings with design standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
• Stay updated on CAD software advancements and implement best practices for improved efficiency.
• Maintain detailed documentation of drawings, revisions, and design changes.GENERAL

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prioritize and ensure full compliance with the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies established by the company.
• Accurate and On Time submissions of balanced scorecards.
• Maintain supportive documentation to substantiate the actual performance for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC).SKILLS:CAD software proficiency, technical drawing, design interpretation.

• Communication, teamwork, problem-solving, attention to detail.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in CAD drafting or a related role within the construction or fit-out industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Auto

• Works, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
