The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Team, specifically the Project Manager and Project Superintendent with all efforts required to manage construction projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the quality standards expected by our clients.
The Project Engineer will primarily perform the construction administration tasks coordinating, receiving, reviewing and distributing information and authorizations necessary for the successful completion of projects.

Qualifications & Required Skills
The Project Engineer should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or at a minimum, an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, or a related field or equivalent field experience. The Project Engineer should have a basic knowledge of principles and practices of design and construction, including safety standards.
The Project Engineer should be organized with an ability to properly manage their time by prioritizing tasks. They should be analytical and possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and writing, and be able to interact and collaborate with coworkers, clients, and outside vendors to provide quality work.
They should be self-motivated and committed. They should show initiative to learn and grow into a leadership position.
The Project Engineer must be proficient in the use of computers and other similar technology, and should be experienced in the use of various software applications, such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, P6, and have the capability to learn new software applications specific to the industry, such as those necessary for estimating, project management, and project controls.
Candidates must be aware of the physical demands of the construction industry and may be required to perform physical labor and other strenuous tasks necessary to the successful completion of projects. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. They may be required to sit and stand for periods of time and travel significant distances in a given day.
They must be capable of performing tasks that may require bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing and crawling. Candidates must have the ability to work in all weather conditions.
