Land Survey Instrument Operator

We offer a wide range of services including civil, structural, and geo-structural engineering, site planning, landscape architecture and land surveying.

We are currently seeking an Instrument Operator to work in our land surveying department. This position will allow the successful candidate the opportunity to gain experience in the surveying industry and give the ability to grow into additional responsibilities. Qualifications and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Prior land surveying experience is preferred but not required.
• Working within a team environment and learning under the direction of a survey crew chief.
• Can learn the profession and how to operate land survey equipment.
• Follow established industry and company standards to record measurements and collect survey data.
• Maintain neat and orderly field notes.
• Possess a willingness to work outside, year-round, full-time, and in various weather conditions.
• Lifting and walking with +/- 40lbs of equipment.
• Be hardworking, of high character and detail oriented.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass drug screening.
