About the Role
As a QA/QC Engineer, you'll be responsible for upholding the highest standards of quality on active projects — ensuring that all materials, installations, and documentation meet both client expectations and industry requirements. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to manage quality processes from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee quality assurance and control procedures across active job sites
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work complies with project specifications and company standards
- Coordinate quality testing, inspections, and non‑destructive examinations with subcontractors and vendors
- Review and track submittals, test reports, and closeout documentation
- Participate in preconstruction and project kickoff meetings to establish quality expectations
- Identify, document, and resolve non‑conformance issues and corrective actions
- Support teams in preparing QA/QC documentation for project handover and warranty phases
- Maintain accurate records within QA/QC software and assist with audits as needed
- Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of experience in construction QA/QC, project engineering, or field supervision within a general contracting environment
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry quality standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Procore, and Plan
- Grid (or similar project management tools)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across project teams and subcontractors
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred, not required)
