Royal Oak Financial Group is looking for an experienced CPA who wants to do more than prepare tax returns.

We are an independent wealth-management firm overseeing more than $400 million for individuals and families approaching or living in retirement. We are looking for a CPA who can handle tax preparation while also working directly with clients on tax planning, retirement-income decisions, and overall wealth strategy.

This is a true client-facing position—not a back-office accounting job.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and review individual income-tax returns
• Prepare business and trust returns as needed
• Meet directly with clients to provide tax guidance
• Develop Roth-conversion and tax-efficient withdrawal strategies
• Advise on RMDs, QCDs, capital gains, charitable giving, and year-end planning
• Work alongside our financial advisors to coordinate tax, investment, and retirement decisions
• Identify opportunities that can improve each client’s financial outcome

What We Need

• Active CPA license
• At least five years of tax-preparation experience
• Strong individual income-tax experience
• Business and trust-return experience preferred
• Comfortable meeting and communicating directly with clients
• Accurate, organized, dependable, and able to work independently
• Genuine interest in tax planning, retirement planning, and wealth management

This position is ideal for a CPA who is ready to move beyond the traditional tax-firm environment without walking away from the tax work they know and do well.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Worthington, Ohio. There is no prospecting requirement. We already have the clients—we need the right CPA to help us take exceptional care of them.
