Job Description

Quality Operations Specialist (QOS)

The Quality Operations Specialist (QOS) is responsible for overseeing training and auditing functions within their designated department. This position will train and audit team members to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The QOS is accountable for proper documentation and adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS), while also championing continuous improvement initiatives.

This role acts as the primary quality and training point of contact for the department and collaborates cross-functionally.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on training to team members (50%)
• Conduct audits and performance reviews, and drive continuous improvement (30%)
• Support the development and upkeep of training and auditing documentation within the QMS (10%)
• Provide immediate coaching and feedback to department leaders to enhance operations (10%)
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Maintain required attendance and punctuality standards

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and seek clarification as needed
• Proficient data entry, clerical, and basic mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience creating and delivering presentations
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships at all organizational levels
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant work experience
